Have a friend that sold her's for a small loss after unsuccessfully trying to rent/lease it out for about a year. Seemed to be a trend from what she told me.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hmm seems like business sense would dictate you’d want to offer your stall up for stupid cheap rent to get people in there then sell once it becomes more commonly known.
Seems like an iffy location, the idea was probably that cross iron is there and has a lot of traffic, make sense that a mall beside it would get a lot of traffic too... or does it? Why would I want to drive out of the city to go to a small mall beside a huge one with stores for everyone, good places to eat and a movie theatre??
You underestimate the amount of Asians in Calgary lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm surprised the CRA doesn't just buy a booth to open up a satellite officeThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If there is a huge ethnic food court there similar to Richmond malls (ex: Aberdeen), the place will bustle. Until then, it'll be ghost town.
I just stopped into this mall yesterday and checked it out, so large and so empty. Only three or four stores that I saw, huge parking lot with so much open space. Huge underground parkade too. I just can't imagine them filling all those shops.
It has like an airport vibe doesn’t it? LolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So many people.....ummm nevermind
If it doesn't work out maybe it will get converted to some sort of trendy condo development
To be fair a lot of you were pretty sure that Crossiron was going to fail miserably as well when it first opened.
This. There needs to be an anchor merchant or something to bring people in.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Good sales pitch tho
Is there any Asian oriented stores yet though? Seems like they are still all across the street at cross iron! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
what's more Asian oriented than an outlet store?
A bootleg store.
Trust me, typical Chinese immigrants would rather deal with other Chinese people 100% of the time. That's why malls in Richmond are so successful.
