Waiting for tomco to get a pic of him in a provocative position on that couch.
Only if you're sitting at the desk.

Glad I'm not the only one whose mind went first to the black couch. Bunch of pervs here.

I have seen some shops already packed up and left. A lot got turned into cheap office space now if you can deal with 12pm-8pm opening hours.
I said it when it first opened, that entire mall would make a great tech office. I mean, until the UCP cut all the tax breaks anyways.

Maybe the shop actually belongs to @rage2 , employee is behind the camera.

Gen Z don't drive anyway and have to ask parents to drop them off. That said, is Sears at Northhill still sits empty? That's would be a great spot for some cheap office space, startup/incubator setup.

This mall pretty much proves commercial realtors are a batch of useless leaches. If they actually did what they claim, every unit in this mall should've been sold off and occupied the moment the realtors listed them.
Instead, it's the same old garbage where they throw a sign up and expect a massive pay cheque when a unit finally sells with zero action from the realtor.
Even if it takes two years to sell, they'll still have some lame realtor excuse why they're entitled to their full pay cheque. Worst group of people ever.

They should setup the mall as Calgary’s quarantine for April. Seems like a natural fit? Could be a new horizon indeed.

Probably wouldnt work for liability reasons but if parents could dump their kids there, go shopping, and then picking them up at the end I could really see that taking off.

You don't need that. The target demographic has a million kids, and lots of wives/aunties/sisters to leave one adult with the kids, and the rest shopping.

Heated underground parking too, I could see making use of this play centre if it was -30c. My kids are almost too old for it though.

You'd use this one over one in the city? We have a few that don't require a drive to Airdrie.

I live in the north, so I'm pretty close to Big Box and Hide and Seek. However, I'd check it out for a couple of related reasons. 1) heated parking and 2) ample parking. Both of the other two I mentioned are parking nightmares. I'd rather drive a few more minutes than spend time circling the parking lot waiting for someone to pull out.

Have they finally opened this? It's never been open to the public in the few times I have gone.

The parking? was that not open to the public? I don't go to this mall, so I have no idea.

the heated underground parking. It's not available for public parking as far as I am aware.
