They make their money on the "have to buy it now" people, so the rest of us with patience can enjoy the sales.
When i need to "buy it now" I just ask if it was on sale in the past few weeks and if they can give me that price. 9 times out of 10, they will.

Its on sale right now at $199 at your link....

But I'll add I have the Snapon shelving from Costco, its cheaper in store because the shipping is built into the price for online. I bought one in store at $150, and one on Kijiji (same color and all) for $80, and then used the 2 shelving sets to cover an entire wall (4 posts, 3 shelving sections, 3 shelves on each of the ends, a high shelf and a work bench in the middle) Just set a kijiji alert!

Anyone know of these are still in stock in local Costco locations? Turns out I need more and maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy a damned Costco membership.

Your triangle store gurus, anyone know how to search inventory in more stores? The item I'm looking for might be discontinued, but if it's sitting on the shelf somewhere, I would like it.
Amazon used to sell, this, and in fact I bought one from them recently, but they are out of stock now too.
Home hardware also used to stock it . . .

Usually it mentions to me other stores, but did you try clicking the Check Nearby Stores link in your pic?

Wow, you CAN use that on the HH website, and you can click the "show only stores with available stock".
There's like 5 in Alberta and the only location that has more than 1 is in Rocky Mountain House. Otherwise, Couts, Banff, and Stettler all have 1.

I mean, I could just buy new water jugs for $20, but it feels dirty to throw away good jugs.

Simply re-purpose them into road trip pee jugs.
