Default Tuning Packages Over Priced? Please help

Hey guys just googled a search on high performance volvo parts.

Found this site that has all these upgrade packages including:
    Larger Throttle Body,
    upgraded turboduct assembly,
    K&N Air Filter
    ECU Upgrade

    and others.

Can you guys take a look at the prices and what not and let me know if these guys are over priced? should i just think about buying everything seperately?

    http://www.easternaerospace.com/automotive/engine/

I mean if you take a look at the last package:

EAPUKL4T.......... $2,999.00 (Level IV Performance Upgrade Kit for Turbo Charged Engines)

    - Big-Bore Throttle Body ***
    - Thermally Insulative Throttle Body Coupler ***
    - Magnecor Ignition Wires *
    - K&N Air Filter Charger
    - Turbo Ductwork Upgrade ****
    - 180F Thermostat & Gasket
    - ECU Upgrade
    - Electronic Super Coil **
    - Ported and Polished Intake Manifold
    - Ported and Polished Exhaust Manifold
    Est. Gain = 140HP

3000$ for 140 HP... is that worth it? i dont have a clue.
anyways let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks a ton.

I wish i could double my engine output for 3k.

If you buy seperatly you won;t see as big of gains, and you will have to bend over even further

    Can Volvo's have ricer math??

140hp?? I doubt it with those upgrades.

Maybe 140 total including what the engine has. But not to add 140 to it.

I think that number is seriously inflated, although 140HP gain for 3k isn't a bad gain.

turbo cars are different then those POS Na cars, in terms of the amount of power you can withdraw from one, with little amount of modifications.

I bet this kit is NOT BS, and will definately get you that kind of HP, just remember, the kit is 3000 US, plus install,

Doesn't matter how much it is.

Yes turbo cars get mad horsepower out of small mods. But to get 140 horse power without upgrading the turbo or the injectors is asking for trouble.

    Just doesn't make sense.

Just because you pay $3000 US doesn't mean your getting 140hp.

It means your going to be pissed off and broke.

well if you can't trust that it's true, and espicially if your forking over 3000 worth of whore money then you'd better get some vouches, or atleast contact some people who have bought the kit, you'd be a moron not too.

Unless your stock boost is like 2 lbs and the new ECU will jack it to like 20, then ask for a BS scented air freshner, cause that is wack.

    06 F250 diesel.

Jesus, 3000 for that?!? No fucking way. I've done everyone of those mods except the ones to do with the the turbo to my car and for under $800.

    DO NOT TRUST EASTERN AEROSPACE!!!!

They are a bunch of sleazebags and sell products to make money off of ppl that don't know much about thier cars. Many of those mods are pretty much useless. The TB is plenty big and you will see NO gains on a turbo car over stock.

The stock turbo will be absolutly limited around 300 HP. Those guys say you can get 360 on a fucking stock mitsu 15G

The absolute best place for tuning to go is ipd. They are without a doubt the most reputable volvo tuners in north america. They are expensive, but if you're a noob they at least will not screw you over.
