Default Weighted Stuffing Beads - Poly Beads - Were to buy?

Commonly used to stuff stuffed animals (like beanie babies) or to make weighted items for people with Autism or sensory processing disorders.

Anyone know a cheap or local source for these? Looking for around 12-15 lbs for a few projects. Or cheap alternatives.

Fabric land doesn't carry, and the lady there told me Michael's doesn't either. She suggested online.

I'm cool with online, but I'm a cheapskate and best I've found is six pounds for $50 from Amazon.

Just wondering if there other options.

This might sound REALLY odd...but maybe buy a toy or stuffed something from Amazon that is stuffed with them....and then dissect those to use the filler??....

Maybe a box of bulk stuffies might be cheaper hahaha....

SuperStore has the 18 kg (40 pound) bags of Rooster brand rice on sale for $26.88 right now. I've used rice in sewn-together tube socks for microwavable heating packs with pretty good success.

Rice is an option. But not ideal for kids things since it absorbs liquids, and kids are always leaking something.

20L pail would be outstanding. Trade ya for beer or?
