Naturally Aspirated C63 AMG's/E9x M3's will be future classics without a doubt. Regardless of stats, those new M3's sound gross. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Gas is cheap for the smiles per gallon they deliver. Weirdly my supercharged M5 gets the best mileage out of them, 10L/100 city and 7.5L/100 hwy while putting down 465rwhp. Wagon and Mustang both get about 12L/100 city.
My average fuel costs for the Z06 this summer we’re 20.8 cents per km and that was almost 50% highwayThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Lol really eh? Damn...it felt like I had the Scion for forever tho. Haha.
More details on that sweet GTI please. And what happened to the old one? What was your total cost of ownership for those 14 weeks?

Well if you want to be technical then I got $1000 less than what I paid for the Scion with the trade in. But I did the math and it made sense because they had the GTI priced quite aggressively and the $1000 was easily made up by the low price of the GTI. In comparison, another dealer I spoke to was offering me a $1000 more, so exactly what I paid for the Scion but the GTI they had was similarly spec’ed with 20K fewer km’s but they also wanted $2500+ more on top for their GTI than the one I got. So ultimately for my needs I went with the one that made sense. It’s a 20011 with 96K km’s so let’s see how I like it. Hopefully it’ll be reliable.
The sudden decision to swap actually came out of my wife’s constant complaint of the Scion being too jerky (stick shift) and her constantly feeling nauseous in it. Also, every time when going to Calgary and coming back I was the only one stuck driving as the wife couldn’t. Last week we came back from Panama and I felt a little sick but was forced to drive back to Edmonton as the wife couldn’t. So that kinda all contributed to getting rid of the stick shift.

I have no issues driving stick but a manual transmission car always jerks you somewhat after a shift no matter how smoothly you do it. When you engage the clutch at lower gears it shifts the bodies and while it’s subtle my wife is super sensitive to this shit. But besides that since the car was lowered, it had a super stiff suspension so you’d feel every pothole and that contributed to the jerking/rough ride exponentially. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Haha I edited the post and tried to explain a little better as to what I meant. But a big part of it all is my wife being being a bit of a drama queen. I tried calling her that but that didn’t go very well as you can imagine. Haha.
Tell your wife she needs to work on her neck muscles. There's several easy excercices for that...
