Richest people I know are also some of the cheapest people I know. The brokest people I know are the same ones who spend like that. Same thing applies for companies.
But we talking about Crazy Rich Asians. It's a different animal lol

Wow, not enough MEG shareholders tendered and now Husky has cancelled the deal. MEG down ~35%. Husky up 13%

    Bullet. Dodged.

Husky can pick up the scraps for pennies in strategic alternatives / receivership.

If it gets cheap enough, CNRL can buy it.

Is it a good time to buy Meg stock now??

I don't have any now and don't plan on buying in. It probably has over corrected by 50cents... maybe. That's not enough for me to take a risk on MEG again.

I guess if you assume the market is totally wrong. I don't make that assumption.

Honestly, Notley has interfered and artificially inflated WCS so quick that perhaps MEG feels they’re valuable passed $11/share.

That said, with this slide I feel they’ll be well worth more than they are now, at least to where they were.

If WCS maintains this run of $43-44USD, MEG shares will be worth lots because of free cash flow. Just watch.

If oil continues the way it is in an upwards trend there many other oil companies that have great upside potential that don't have debt that they can barely service. Sounds like you've already invested and good luck!
