    I don't understand the whole shove... that's a shove??????

I've been watching since game 6 against the Bucks. Never really watched in my life it is pretty fun to watch and I imagine fun to play. I'll be cheering then on Monday as well.

they have to make a show of it. Guy is worth 2 billion bucks, he DGAF
Well he was now fined $500K, banned from the NBA for an entire season. And it seems likely he will be forced to sell his stake in the Warriors.

Something tells me he does GAF about all that. Sure he's still the 962nd richest person in the world, but 100% he is going to regret that lapse in judgment.

Oh and @ 370Z, what else do you call what he did? He reached over 2 chairs, put his hands on an NBA player. And then used a ton of expletives at him.

Flip that in reverse and the NBA player would probably get a 20-40 game ban on top of social jumping on him calling him a monster etc.

Looks like Durant is game-time decision. Hopefully he doesn't play but even if he does I doubt he will play a lot.

I doubt he is 100% even if he plays, so I hope he plays so it makes the Raptors win all the better.

Doesn't matter whether or not it was a shove. No spectator is ever supposed to put their hands on the players. ESPECIALLY someone like Mark Stevens. Just because you are a minority owner of a basketball team and are worth a billion dollars, it doesn't give you free reign to do whatever you want. If he were anyone else, that'd be a lifetime ban. And if Lowry was anyone else like Cousins or Artest, that guy would have been bodied.

durant is apparently playing tonight, the game is gonna go down to the wire. i may like the dubs as a team but that in no way trumps my support for the raptors. i hope they make history tonight!

I don't think KD should play, and that's not even from a Raptors chances of winning perspective. I think he, personally, has more to lose by playing than by sitting.

If he sits and the Warriors lose, it cements his place as the missing link on a championship team.

If he plays and he's only marginally better, he risks re-injuring himself which could cost him millions in his free agency if he's out until February (like Demarcus' timeline).

If he plays and they win, he still has to do it 2 more times with the chances of re-injury getting higher.

Granted, teams may still want to give him a max contract regardless, but it's a risk, especially if it's more of an achilles injury (as a lot of people have suspected) rather than a calf injury (as they officially say).

I'm been a hockey fan all my life...I guess you're right, the whole spectators right in floor thing is very foreign and bizarre to me.

People acting like he got knocked out or got a concussion or something geez. Ya it's not classy to boo him but the fans just really want them to win.

Ok, I'm no basketball expert... but it seemed like the Raptors coach calling a time-out right when they started getting on a roll (and were on the offensive) was a terrible choice.

Apparently that was Lowry and not Nurse. They definitely should have called a timeout at the end of the game to get a good shot.

last night was really too bad for the Raptors. Seriously 15s just one bucket and its all over. Still dumb founded by the time out when Raptors were in charge and full of momentum.

I hope they can regroup and stay focus. The hill just got steeper from here on out. Last night was their best chance from a mental perspective to beat GSW. Now they need to play even harder and better to close it out. I have to tell myself, Raptors surprised all of us by taking both games at the Oracle. I was so expecting a split. and had it been that, Raptors would have been down 3 to 2 heading back to Warrior turf.

I was quite amazed at the poise GSW had with 2m to go. Knocking down three 3s is crazy to save their season. Basket ball gods are with them. nearly half of their points are from 3s. had they miss 1 near the final frame, it would have been all over.

I thought this too. They had alot of momentum to take a decent lead and suddenly called a timeout and they got cold and GSW got a chance to regroup. Nick Nurse said it was to give the Raps a short rest, but I thought it was a bad call.
