Default Fast ticking sound when driving straight and cornering right side only

This sound did not occur at all when I had my all seasons on.

I put my winters on during the snowy day on tuesday and drove with them on wednesday (didnt notice the noise) and thursday. When I am driving the car straight on the right side I hear this ticking noise which is very noticeable when I turn corners, only on the right and appears right front side. I felt around the tire when I got home but did not notice any plastic or anything hitting the tire or something protruding from it. All the lug nuts are tight as well so I dont think thats the problem. I thought possibly theres a rock stuck in the tread which could be causing this problem as it does sound like something is in there and is striking the road every turn.

The car is a 2014 Kia Forte 5.

First guess rock in tread. Second guess cv joint.

Not usually, but any part can be bad from the factory. Also maybe check your dust shield and see if it's hitting a piece of ice on your wheel?

You might have picked up a nail and the head has popped off. I had this exact issue once and it was a pain to find as it was barely visible - just the stud of the nail was protruding barely above the tire surface.

Stupid ticking noise al day long and it was obvious as it was ticking at every tire rotation, louder the faster you went.

Start checking your tire pressure daily, then weekly if no change (unless you have TPMS). You should know in a month or 2 if a puncture has happened, though some can seal up really well and not leak noticeably in even months.

+1 for nail or screw or bolt or something. If it was a rock big enough to hear it, probably would have popped out eventually. If you can't find it by feeling around the tire, I'd take the ten min to pull the tire off and check carefully.

You have a Kia. Nothing's out of the question.

Fast ticking? Wile E Coyote planted some dynamite under your car.

Driving my low car over the snow I had accidentally torn off one of my mudguards and there was a piece dragging on the ground.
