I just buy cheap sheets from Amazon or wherever - they are always way above average and cheap to replace. I used to live in a place without A/C and sweat would wreck my sheets really fast even with frequent washes. Mattress and comforter I don't cheap out on but sheets I don't care as much.

I use Walmart sheets and that works for me but I had no idea how high end bedding stuff can get until a gf took me to this place in Inglewood. http://www.shadesofsleep.ca/ You can spend thousands easily.

You can go have a beer with erchrry in that area.
This...is waaaay out of my price range haha.

On a whim, i bought the amazon basics, microfiber sheets for ours. They're soft and cheap - I actually just bought a duvet cover yesterday to match (a whole 29 bucks lol). The only downside is they're a little thin, so i feel like they'll wear easily. But for that cheap, I don't mind.

    Seems pretty decent actually.

Little late to the party on this...
I've had experience with both Bedface(good ol' Canadian company) and Parachute Home. Both are priced more than the Walmart stuff but less than the Beyond baller/maxb00st sheets. I got the percale sheets from both companies. I'd say the sheets from Parachute are of a higher quality but the Bedface sheets are good as well. Only caveat is that there was a weird restructuring period with Bedface where they moved offices(went from downtown Vancouver to IIRC Victoria) and went dark for around six to eight months and seem to have relaunched now...not sure if quality changed in that time.

Another one to consider is Brooklinen, but I haven't tried their stuff so I can't really make much of a comment.

Costco has some surprisingly good bedding for reasonable prices. It just depends what they have in stock

So in case OP hasn't bought sheets yet...

Buying bedsheets is one of the most convoluted things you can possibly do. Everyone lies about everything to do with specs basically.

I highly suggest reading up on thread counts and the way manufacturers cheat/lie about the quality of fabric you are buying (mainly to do with the cotton/egyptian cotton).

I had sheets I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond. Ended up being around $150 for pillow cases, fitted sheet, and a loose sheet, but damn if they weren't nice. This thread has got me thinking that I need to look into a new set...

Quilts Etc. for Duvet covers, their sheets are expensive. Either online or you can look at Market Mall or Cross Iron. They put their stuff on sale often or you can check out their clearance area in the stores, if you go in the stores they have all their designs out so you can see them and feel them. Ive had no issues and they seem to hold up well.

Costco is good for sheets, actual duvets and pillows, mattress pads etc.

Default Bed linens: where's a good reasonable place to buy

Where do you buy your bed linens without being extravagant yet not compromising on quality?

    Same goes for bed pillows.

Honestly, maybe this is non-baller but I mean, I just buy sheets from bed bath and beyond or homesense or whatever. Sheets get discarded every 8-12 months anyways, don’t see a point in going all out?

Not after you use them for a year straight.

As said Bed Bath and Beyond with the 20% discount, or catch The Bay during one of their 50% sales. It's all overpriced no matter where you go.

I buy my sheets from Costco ( the fleece - it literally feels like you turn a sheep inside out and get into him, so comfortable )

And then we recently just bought the UGG blanket set from Bed Bath and Beyond, 20% off and its pretty comfortable and looks decent.

What makes you want to throw them out? I've never heard of this before.

yeah, this is crazy. I have sheets that are ten years old. Now sometimes they'll get damaged, and I can see throwing them out in that case. But yearly?
