Apparently they are using roadside saliva tests for this. Problem is they are only about 90% accurate, and don’t work well in the cold. Only a matter of time before this hits the courts and becomes invalidated in my opinion.
For my work, our policy is basically treating it same as alcohol... can’t have it on you at a site, and can’t consume during work hours (yes we aren’t even allowed to have a beer at lunch, been that way for at least 10 years). If you have a prescription where you need to use it during work hours and safety sensitive position, you’re supposed to let your manager know... presumably so they can move you into a non safety sensitive position

Correct, depending on how low the thc content is. Makes sense anyways...cbd does not get you high. I know many people that take cbd oil and they are not impaired/high at all
