I feel like his base is getting the shaft with most of his policies. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and if buying shit from America that probably came cheaply from china originally will become more expensive for Canadians.

I can already tell you that Cisco has raised their list price on some gear that I recently purchased by ~30%, it's a safe bet that most other companies will follow suit or already have.

Time to cut out the middle man and import more things directly to Canada.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

That's already being done by tons of people. Missed the boat on that one IMO.

Only way to do it is to find a specific niche, and focus on just that one item (or similiar products) and developing a market for it.

I wouldn't say "lots". I've seen some friends move into some interesting markets, but being 1st mover is a big part of that.

Amazon (and Amazon industrial once that gets rolling) will decimate all of those markets. Only items that can't be shipped quickly will be able to remain competitive.

    All my opinion of course.

You mean republicans and welfare red states constantly vote against their own interests, gutting services they use and all that?

    Shocking.

Depends what your talking about. The days of dropshipping stuff from Alibaba or white labelling it onto Amazon are dead, yeah. But there's still lots of niches out there if you are willing to do your own design and track down manufacturers to have your creation made.
