Default Is this even legal? Another dealership issue...

After using dj_rice advice this looked to be resolved but is not. Norden Volkswagen is the dealership.

TLDR: Dealer took deposit on car, agreed to deliver at set date. Never delivered the car, and wont return my messages/calls or deposit.

Norden Volkswagen is owned by Go Auto. Talk to the Happy To Help Dept at Go Auto Corporate. https://www.goauto.ca/about/customer-service

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

LOL Yeah Go Auto does not like negative customer experiences. They created a specific dept to deal with negative experiences called Happy To Help Dept. I had to use them when there was issues with my car.

Yea I got a message stating that it would be refunded right away. I asked for a copy of the refund receipt, so I am giving them until end of day or I will call again to that department as they told me to

So after 2 days of either sitting on hold, or on the Go Auto chat system, I have received 4 texts saying they are doing it "right now" and nothing. I gave up myself, the headache isn't worth the small deposit charge, just thought I would update this for anyone interested.

Just take copies of the receipts and communication and file a dispute with your CC company. Super easy and you'll get your $$ back.

I'll go do it for you, you seriously giving away free money? Jesus...

There is an easy way to do this though; walk into the store and demand a refund and you won't leave until they cut it to you. Works everytime.

Also, leave a negative review for them as well.

I would definitely kill some time in their showroom chatting with every customer that walks through the door. You'll be speaking with someone that has the power to issue you a refund pretty quickly I bet.

That's shitty deal bro. Thought emailing them would get results as I did. Not sure how long it takes to process but I was waiting for a refund from Hertz Rental and it took almost 10 business days for it to be processed/refunded back onto my card.
