Default Any Civic wiring gurus out there??

Anybody a Civic wiring guru? Bought this car already stripped out... Trying to get it running... Anybody give some advice? Pulled out the key switch and it just doesn't do anything when I spin it.

a voltmeter will be your best friend (even better if it can test continuity). Trace the wires from the aftermarket security box to the ignition switch. Check for 12v.

    https://www.the12volt.com/installbay...tail/1049.html

    Constant 12V - white
    Starter - BLK/WHT

if you're just looking to start it, i'd use a jumper wire to see if it cranks. Other than that, start from the starter and work backwards?

I believe @Sentry would know more since he's built a few..

Do you have a cluster for it, or no? The CEL can tell you some things. Main relay is the most common cause of no-starts and fuel pump not priming. So are POS aftermarket alarms lol.

no the cluster didn't come with it (gonna turn it in to a dirt oval car anyway so we really don't need the cluster), i have an obd2 reader though, think that'd be helpful?

Probably not since it doesn't even crank. Does the car come alive at all when you turn the key, hear some relays click, blower motor, wipers, etc?

If the car were in front of me I could diagnose it no problem but I hate doing it over the internet.

alrigh that's what i figured, TBH its pretty overwhelming the mess in there, lol, i'll have to do some more poking around. Just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing something critical and obvious like lack of cluster wont let it start or something stupid like that

@Sentry thanks for the pointers, I think we got it figured out, didn't realise the previous owner pulled the main fuse because he was ripping on a ton of wiring... Once we jumped that things started coming back, no spark, found out that fuse was gone too, and then got it to run on starting flud only to find out the entire fuel pump was missing (but they put the cover back on so you couldn't tell). Lol

Gonna take some time to get it all worked out.
