I see that shit, and my opinion on gun usage to defend your home changes. You should be able to just poke a gun out of the window and open fire.

Hmmm, I actually do know one of them. Ex wife ran with some pretty shitty people when she lived in Edmonton and one of her friends actually posted the dude in the vest up on her FB page.

Maybe I should be calling EPS...

    Yeah man, do it!

I'm also pretty sure the guy in the Yankees cap is Chuck D.

They are so dumb they all look right into the super obvious camera doorbell and have nothing covering their face. Probably nothing will ever happen to them though, police aren't typically interested in petty B&E.

Why did they leave that one house running? Maybe someone was home?

Also this is a good reminder to everyone to replace all your door hinge/hardware screws with 3" deck screws instead of the 1/4" decorative screws that are probably in there now. Takes 5 minutes and makes your door way harder to kick in which is the most common.

You can also buy things like this that make your door extremely hard to open even if they do get past the deadbolt with a screwdriver:

    https://www.amazon.ca/Prime-Line-Pro...=door+security

    https://www.amazon.ca/Nightlock-Secu...=door+security

A good lock like a Mul-T-Lock also has a cup and ball bearing for the deadbolt so they can't pry it open.

Anything that slows them down might make them just move on to the next house, but if they really want to get in nothing you do will stop them.

What I don't understand is why they didn't just break the window beside the door and open the door.

Oddly enough that doesn't seem to happen very often, and I have watched hundreds of these videos haha. I am really not sure why but they rarely break the glass - most kick the door and some jimmy it open like in these videos.

If you have a window with access to your deadbolt though you can get all kinds of things that will still hold the door in place for security even if they release the deadbolt through the window.

You can also get 3M security film on the windows that make them way harder to break, not a bad idea for those decorative windows right beside the doors.

None of this stuff is expensive, not a bad idea if anyone wants to up their security a bit.

Another reminder for everyone - hide valuables, cash, heirlooms, etc. in places like the laundry room, attic, floor/wall safe, etc. Thieves will be in your house for 2-5 mins tops, they will grab anything valuable lying around then head for the master bedroom searching for valuables/cash/jewlery (often they take a pillow case to use as a bag), then they head for the medicine cabinet for drugs and your hard alcohol. Quick in & out. Oddly enough the freezer is apparently a common place to hide cash, so they often check that too.

I'll have to buy a fucking burner iPhone just to talk to you haha.

Green text? Is that autocorrected from Gmail? I think you are the one who needs to reconsider their phone choice.

I'll send it again from my work mail.
