Canada needs to have tougher laws for crime. Even something like theft should carry a minimum 10 year sentence as in overseas countries. Or heck I'd be open to chopping their hands off as punishment if caught in the act. Better yet, lethal injection.

The moment you steal and are caught in the act, you should have zero chance in life for the future. Or at least allow a citizen who is home and a victim of an attempted break in to shoot and kill. Even if the intruder tries to run. My 10 dollar socks are worth more than your life if you choose to break into my home.
