Interesting poll, I think that beyond is above average educated on the topic though.

I worry the unknowing masses will mostly just vote “Fuck yea Olympics!”

Turnout for this vote will be incredibly low. The side that gets people out will win.

The financial cost and logistics make no sense. If upgraded Ctrain infrastructure was included (aka train to the airport) I'd be a little more supportive, but still in the "No" category.

    Depends which hat is on....

From a business perspective we will likely secure a portion of the construction work so yes.

From a citizen or tax payer perspective, no.

Got my mail in ballots, but they'll probably get lost in the mail. Fooking government.

Been out of the country last few weeks, but from what I can gather last few days, no.

Too many funny math, half truths and not enough money commitment from top 2 level of governments.

If someone can keep our (Coc) involvement under $1B, I'm in, otherwise, PFO.

Hopefully the plebiscite follows this poll.

With the feds not covering any overages, bidco slashing the budget to make it look more appealing, and the lack of any actual insurance policy for the city's share, I'd say this is about to become a fiscal nightmare.

Bidco is pumping out advertisements and paying for endorsements like crazy now. Deleting all negative comments off all social posts. FB, Twitter and Reddit posts daily. And Nenshi's leading the charge with his usual "this is a good deal for Calgary" charade.

As Mary Moran directly said, "bidco is completely neutral".
I can eat more hot wings than you.
