Peak Design backpack or Sling. On my shoulder i I use their straps but after a while if you have a heavy setup it makes your neck/shoulder sore.

In a bag or holster (I am a bag whore and I have one for every possible combination haha) or in my hand with the strap around my neck. I like thick neoprene straps. I am far too anal to have my camera dangling down in front or beside me, rubbing on coat zippers/bumping into things. I can't tell you how many times I have seen people ram their camera into a wall or doorway with those things. Also, almost all those quick strap companies have lots of failure horror stories that scare me too much. YMMV!

For me, it depends on the situation.

If I'm trying to go light and don't need to carry other stuff, I have an Op/Tech sling strap

If I do need to carry other stuff, then I just toss the camera into a backpack.

If I'm doing something like a wedding where I need multiple bodies on hand, I just have a strap for each shoulder. Those double sling systems look pretty interesting and I might pick one up:

I just find whatever you do, you don't want to have too much weight hanging off one side of your body or else you'll be feeling it later on. Meaning, try to balance the amount of weight on both sides of your body unless you have something like a light mirrorless.

I've always just used the neck strap that came with the camera, or none at all.

Great timing for the thread as I've been looking into other options lately as well. Like the look of the shoulder straps, but for those using that do you find the camera swings around much when walking?

For travel or hiking I use F-Stop backpack. For light and discreet, I use Think Tank Retrospective 30 shoulder bag.

The best strap I own is the Luma Labs Cinch 2. Its neoprene pad is the most comfortable I've used. For my tripod camera, I use the Peak Design Slide. I do not fully trust the anchor links but it is quick and easy when I need to attach a strap to the body.

Get a strap with a cinch system, Luma Labs or Peak Design. The Luma Labs Cinch 2 is discontinued and replaced with the Loop. I'm not a fan of the leather pad and single point mount. I still use DSLRs so I prefer a 2 point mount with my straps.

I'll be the standout...lol. I travel with a Thinktank Airport Accelerator. Two bodies with lenses attached, a couple extra lenses. Laptop if I'm going for more than one day. Batteries, chargers, etc...it all fits...and it's carry on legal...JUST.
