    Default Sketchy people on halloween

Does anyone else get sketchy looking people constantly driving around their neighborhood on halloween?

Im up near aspen and theres been half a dozen of the same cars with really dodgy looking people just cruising past my street slowly. One person did get out and check some candy bowls, but the rest are just cruising around in their cars.

Those are people from my neighborhood trying to find the rich people who give out full size bars.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Reviving this thread. This footage from last night in Nolan Hill. Damn kids.
Box was left outside with candy while homeowners went out.

This. I know the intentions are good but this simply won't end well at all. It just takes 1 bad apple to ruin it for everyone.

Ah not just Halloween for my area.

Spreading the un-wealth to the wealth one day a year.

Just a bunch of dumb kids doing dumb things. Teens treat Halloween with 10000x entitlement because it's the only day of the year where they get something from nothing from complete strangers.

In that context, most of them don't have the awareness and impulse control to be thankful, let alone decent enough to govern themselves accordingly

Had a guy drag his kid to my front door look inside and run off.

I can’t tell whether he was casing or just couldn’t be bothered to ring the doorbell if the candy wasn’t just left out for him.

Literally could see him through the window. Left lights on. Halloween decorations out.

i can't believe all the people on facebook blaming other people for leaving candy out, and being mad when it gets jacked.

"shoulda been there to hand it out" like fuck off, maybe raise your kids with some fucking integrity and not to be pieces of shit.

This has really been bothering me today lol....

To be honest, why even do it anyways if you're not around? Leaving a box out (especially with no instructions) seems more like a hassle to people than not when it's going to be empty really fast.
My neighbor across the street not only did not put any candy out, but they did put up decorations and it looked like they were going to hand out candy. It was annoying to see a 100 kids ring the doorbell and no one answering it all night.

No matter how you look at it, trying to justify it as being ok is ridiculous though? It's literal Stealing lol

We have a display with a huge poster halloween themed with a rhyme telling kids to take 2 and then put out 3 bowls on a table with all different stuff in them as well as decoration and lights everywhere. 95% of kids are good and only take a few. It is normally the older 10-13 year olds that seem to be the issue with picking about 20 different items and being inconsiderate. I played back my cam and it was only 6 kids who were not considerate out of 122 so that leads me to believe the majority of kids know better its just a few ignorant kids.

The other 116 as well as my kids don't/didn't do that and its not like I am the pinnacle of parenting perfection (I have a mug saying so but I don't think its accredited) so its not about every kid doing it.

Well and realistically even good parents have bad kids. Just bothers me people are trying to justify it more than anything haha

This whole "holiday" is one of many dumb things that us white people do.... and then complain about it afterwards. Who the fuck even came up with this. My theory is the big candy and big costume conglomerates.

If you raise children that need instructions on how to take candy out of a bowl you need to reassess your parenting.
