@ExtraSlow 9.1? At least according to my dash, around the city I am getting 6.5-7L/100km, and on highway 7.1ish, or if it's really flat I've even gotten it down to 6.

You get worse on the highway? That's pretty unusual. And I know my mileage could be a lot better, but I warm the car up for a long time in the winter because my precious little babies can't be chilly on the way to school. My trips are almost all under 5km, most under 1km. My point was that I have a "worst case scenario" and I STILL get 9.1, which is pretty decent. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Ah yes I understand what you are saying. As far as highway goes, it just depends if it's lots of uphill or not. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

The fit really is a great car but it's rubbish on the highway. Swap it for a 66 Accord and get 3x power + 3x comfort at the same fuel economy..

Installed a new stereo a while back. It matches the oem cluster quite well in my opinion
More Kswap parts are here. Got an RSX intermediate shaft, 8g Civic Si alternator, '09-14 TSX ecu, and Unorthodox Racing pulleys
Thanks for following along. About to order a motor out of Kamloops, and Hasport is going to do my swap harness. Woo!
It has arrived. Shipping the harness out to Hasport shortly, next up Hondata.

I claybar-ed, polished, and waxed the car. Then of course got a fresh coat of mud on the tires courtesy of my back alley.
Super Saiyan Savage
Did you get the swap done yet?
...
Clay bar and wax? My car hasn't seen either, possibly ever. Of course it's both dented to shit from hail as well as chipped to shit from rocks. Would be a waste to clay bar that. I just figure its like speed holes.
Haha, speed holes! I've actually heard of some Fit guys cutting off the bottom half of the rear bumper to save weight and reduce drag...might be a bit excessive. This is my first time ever using a clay bar or polish, on any car actually. Just had tonnes of it sitting around from my brother and decided to use it up. Honestly it's way too much work, even with a polisher.
And no, no swap yet. I'm having some real troubles sourcing a 09-14 manual tranny TSX for it's main harness and charge harness. I would require the same from a 2009-2013 Fit. Where are all the wrecked ones? I've called so many junkers and no one seems to have the second gen Fit. If I can't find anything in the coming week, I think I'm going to have to source some online and have them shipped directly to Hasport.
Edit: I found one manual 09-14 TSX parts car but they won't sell the harnesses until they sell the motor

Tied into the systems of all wreckers across N/A. Fantastic website for sourcing parts
Thanks vengie! Much appreciated.
This is really coming together nicely. Congratulations!!
Thanks! Honestly it's been a difficult car to source parts and information for. Definitely not a popular car for modifications.
Decided to switch out the Recaro's for '08 Si seats, since the Recaro's don't work very well with the camper setup I made. The Si seats are great! Super comfy, reasonable bucket, and a great fit. Internet searches suggest that all I need is an ODS reset and the airbag light will go away. We will see.
Kswap update: Hasport is working on the harness, hoping to hear back from them soon. I also picked up a Hondata Flashpro for a '09-14 TSX.
KTuned 9th gen Si catless downpipe. This will unfortunately need to be hacked up for the swap. I have a 3" high flow cat sitting around I'll have welded onto this. Still debating whether I go 2.5 or 3" for the exhaust.
