Hondata doesn't support the 2nd gen Fit unfortunately. KTuner does though.

Wow, I've hauled some bulky stuff in my '14 but never tried a fridge, lol.

Mine has 3M film on only half the hood and I really wish it had extended up the roof and a-pillars, because both have multiple rock chips from 3 years of daily commuting on Stoney. Yours should benefit from the better coverage.

Yea I'm glad I got full coverage. I didn't bother with the bumper at all since it can't rust, and 3m ain't cheap.

Do you also have a Z? That's a great combo if so - I was considering picking up a Z in the future if all things line up. They're getting cheap!

Just sold the Z earlier this summer actually. They are indeed getting cheap, judging by some of the kijiji offers I got, lol.

The 17" wheels look great on your Fit. My original all-seasons are worn out so now I'm seriously considering going to a 17x7 wheel to find some better tire selection. Most of the choices in the original size are pretty underwhelming.

Ya the factory wheels sizes are not fun. That being said, if you want some X-ice in the factory Sport specs, I have a really fresh set that I need gone.

And so begins the hunt for K swap parts. K&N Typhoon and Hondata reflash for the 2012-2015 Civic Si. The K&N actually bolts right in for this swap, to my surprise.

EDIT: turns out I need a different ecu for this swap. Anyone need the flashpro? It will also work for a 2013+ ILX. SOLD

Update on the Recaro's: Got all the weight sensors out and had Paul at Garagebox do some custom fabrication for me. All the sensors now have constant pressure on them with this design, so the front airbag will always deploy during a crash.

Only major negatives are the lack of power (they're slow as balls) and the cabin noise is crazy loud.

One is sold, and both are auto, so beyond isn't exactly the ideal marketplace for them. Not saying the car is perfect by any means, but coming from a world of 240/STI/G35/GTI's, I can safely say this is the best car I've owned. Also by far the slowest.

I haven't found it to be much louder (if at all) than my RSX? It definitely could be better though, and that's one aspect I hope to improve for sure. I do wish it had a 6th gear, that would quiet the ride on the highway.

Yes, they are slow, but compared to similarly priced entry level economy cars, they are faster than those, and quieter and more refined. Sure, when comparing to used Acuras or Accords, they are much louder, but remember these were sub $20k cars brand new. It's not an amazing highway car, but again, better than other cars in their class. It is possible to hold 120 km/h and even pass people. And the packaging is amazing, it has more interior and cargo space than a civic sedan, while being significantly smaller exterior dimensions.

And while this is boring, the fuel economy can't be beat. Mine is used exclusively on short city trips with long periods of remote start warming up, and I'm getting 9.1L/100km average.

Another boring but helpful thing is that they are crazy common, so parts are cheap and easy to find. If you need to fix something, there will be a youtube video showing how to do that repair. The commonness does mean you don't get to feel cool about some rare vehicle, but hey I like that.
