Thanks for the comments guys, I could use some positivity right now . I'm currently stranded out in a small BC town after hitting two potholes within a few feet of each other at about 110kph. I'm waiting for wheels and tires to be shipped into town, I've exhausted all other options. The crazier part is that the day I was leaving Calgary I had two very questionable flats so I swapped my winters on, and now this happens on the way home (both right side rims are cracked). I'm just happy I'm ok and that I wasn't running some really cheap set of rims, this could have been way worse. No more 17's for me after this I think (unless the Blizzaks are miraculously fine, then I'll swap them over to my 5Zigen's).

Ha! Yep some old Enkei. I hit those potholes hard real hard. Had I been on cheap rims, I bet the spokes would have collapsed too and sent the car scraping the road. Next set of rims I'm definitely going with 16's with thicker rubber.

Thanks man! I'm in between Hope and Penticton on the number 3. I reported the potholes. I saw chunks of at least three other tires there. Still waiting here on tires. Rims have arrived. Speaking of, anyone want some cheap steelies on cheap winter rubber when I get back? It'll only have 1000km on them.

It's disappointing to see such obvious brittle fracture failure from perfectly reasonable quality wheels. I agree with you that cheap shit might've killed you, but still... It looks like it broke like a cinder block.
