Default Canadian CRT class action lawsuit

Canadian CRT class action lawsuit - probably applies to a lot of beyond members, should be good for at least a case or two of cheap beer or a half sack of good stuff.

    Link to web site.

That company, Rice Point, has other class actions that they've handled of which at least one I've seen monies from (LCD price fixing).

Signed up as well. Least you'll get is $20. Anyone ever sign up for the Sofa Foam lawsuit?

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

You can make up to 2 claims with zero proof - how does that work? Why wouldn't every single person do that? Filling out a form for $40 seems pretty good.

It's anticipated that the minimum is $20. The more people file, the lower that gets.

I have invoices for around 2000-2500 CRT monitors, maybe I should do a standard claim since I'd be fully auditable.

It did say you could claim more with proof...

Considering how much money that potentially is, I would at least try to submit those.

    That's $50K.

Wish I had access to all those NEC Multisync invoices from the 90s!

I owned a number of Viewsonic and Sony CRTs - back in the day they were always the best.

I remember hauling my Sony G400 19" to LAN parties when I was a teenager - the thing weighed 57lbs

Multisync early to mid 90s. Dell rebadged Trinitron toward later and near 2000.

Did anyone else get an email back about this? I just got one. It does say that I'm eligible for quite a bit based on my purchases but it depends on the appeals process.

I thought it was a scam for a minute there...until I remembered and found this post.

I had one back in September saying I had a discrepancy since there were multiple applications with my IP. I responded saying I filled it out at work and haven't heard back.
