I'm getting mine on Friday, but my plan is to use SD as well as cloud.
Nice! Mine will be coming in Monday.

I ordered these and they have been excellent:

    https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07...GFW0OQJA&psc=1

Price fluctuates between $7.99 and $10 day to day and when the 2-pack is available it's $14.99.

32GB gives you approximately 4 days of loop footage - it will automatically record over the oldest footage when full, and still records all events in the cloud just like it does without a micro SD card.

The cards are a little tricky to push in the bottom of the camera and it's spring loaded, so just make sure it's in all the way. Format the card in the camera (option to do this in the app) before first use.

The bitrate is ~100KB/s so you don't need anything fancy at all in terms of memory card.

For the price, there really is no reason not to pop a mSD card in there to guarantee no gaps in footage. You can view it all from the app too, it's great. It even marks the events on the timeline.
Sweet I'll keep an eye out for the 2-pack and thanks for the info.

Both, i only have it set for notifications sometimes, so it only records those on the event based.
I think I'll likely do the same.

You already get free cloud recording of the event independent of any local storage, so if you are using a mSD card, there would be no reason not to record 24/7 to ensure zero gaps.

    .

Haha nice. FYI I found some 'bird house' outdoor enclosures. I'm going to order some and give it a shot as a front-door camera. I had indoor camera's outside before function fine so the 'covers' are even better.

There is also a pretty big sub-reddit on these that have lots of info and cool videos.

Edit: Just got intellicom email. Should be here tonight. That's quick man.

These things are sweet. Easily replaced all my old ones. Much better streaming, movement recognition, and better fish-eye. Super tempted to buy more, but don't really have anything to do with them quite yet. haha

Call amazon and they might be able to refund you. Worst case just order and 'return' it at $34. They were also on sale for $19.00 USD with shipping. So ordered 3 of them. Also ordered 2 'birdhouse' outdoor covers and 3 more memory cards that Mitsu mentioned.

I am super happy with them. I've got my Smartthings tied to it using IFTTT so that when we go to sleep or leave all the motion detection arms. It's pretty slick.

You would have to do the latter. Despite their amazing customer service, one thing Amazon won't do is price adjustments unfortunately. They have a section on their website that talks about no price protection. They tell you to return and repurchase - just make sure you select one of the options such that Amazon covers the return shipping. It's dumb because it costs them more money, but that's what they tell you to do. They probably don't want to set a precedent.

$200 item a few days late? No problem, full refund. Something you bought drops $3? Too bad haha.

Not worth it for $3 obviously unless you bought dozens of them, but that is their general policy unfortunately.

I believe they just fluctuate with the USD, among other things, which is why the price is a moving target. They ship from the USA as well (.com.ca), at least the ones I bought did.

Yeah they did it for me though is why I mention it. I said I am fine to order and return the ones you send me, but you're going to refund me $9 and spend probably that in shipping. Your call but seems like a waste amazon. I win regardless and you lose. And funny enough I've had 4-5 things late before. Only an apology email and one time 1 month of free prime. Maybe I don't bitch enough.

No issues when something is broken or damaged on delivery though.

Interesting, good job haha. They have never done it for me and always refer me to their page on price protection. They do things for me all the time that cost them WAY more money, but never price matching.

Wyze updated their app. Way better useability, push notifications always happen for me now, cloud bitrate for storage seems better, much better video.

A+ still for $34 a pop. Only thing that would be nice is the ability to tag an area that isn't a rectangle for motion tracking. Even a parallelogram would be nice.
