Yeah, tried 3 plus two London drugs on Friday. Tried again a bunch of places today with no luck hoping they restocked. Sucks seeing a bunch of them on Kijiji and FB marketplace being flipped for 100+$ markupThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The wife loves Le Creuset and has been hinting at getting a french oven for a while now so I braved the crowds and went to chinook. Not a bad little deal, you paid regular price for the french oven (~400) but got a matching serving plate and a $100 gift card for free. And not an "in store only, use by XXX date" type deal either, a legit gift card. The bay had the same french oven marked up to $560 then a 30% discount on it to bring it down to Le Creuset's regular price.
Christmas shopping is done!

Late to this party, but what's the difference between all of the Electric Burr grinders? Why are some 149.99 reg and then others 129.99 reg? Seems liek they went up a bit and are no longer $80 each.... anywhere still selling them for $80? i could use a coffee grinderThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The stainless steel and brass ones are more expensive, but they all have the same guts. Indigo still has the stainless one for $90.
This is a pretty good if you need a Pressure washer:

From what I have read, Home Depot sells the exact same one for $350.
Lowest price it's ever been by a large amount according to 3camel.
Were there any good Cyber Monday deals at all?
Everything seemed awful.
Witcher 3 complete for ps4 was $19 for a short period of time. Grabbed a pair of hunting safety glasses for $3.50
Amazon does have some crazy sales if you hunt.
Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.
One of my items is slightly late arriving on Amazon and they refunded me the entire $260+ at midnight on day 2 plus an additional $10 credit for my 'inconvenience' (their words not mine) haha. It will be arriving today. I love Amazon.
One of the best games ever!!!!!This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I have items that were due on the 24th and no update. I want free too!
TIL: A french oven is an enameled Dutch oven. I always just called them dutch ovens.
I had a "next day delivery" come 3 or 4 days later and the best they'd give me was a free month of prime.aThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So what do you call a bedroom Dutch oven? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yup - not the first time either. A while ago I ordered a $60 drone that was late and they refunded my entire order which included more than that. Their customer service is the absolute best. I probably make 2-5 orders a week from Amazon though, so if they can see how much I buy from them that could factor into the quality of service I receive. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. It might have something to do with how much I buy from them - I am not sure. I've also got a month free prime when an item was a day late before, but more than one day opens the door for full refunds, at least in my experience. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Well after days of searching for a playstation I gave up. Went to Visions and got the xbox one s minecraft bundle for 229 instead. Sucks that I missed most of the game deals but oh well.
Working at the Amazon warehouse the past few months, it's amazing to see how well they strive for getting packages on time. Im on the equipment maintenance & engineering team and even a few minutes of equipment downtime at this time of year can be a real setback for them. It helps to understand the postal strike affects as wellThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I talked to INTELCOM today because my package (that was refunded in full) is still delayed. They told me they got 160,000 Amazon packages when they were only supposed to get 90,000 or so due to the Canada Post strike + Black Friday rush, and they are massively backlogged. I imagine that also explains the 60 minute wait time before you can talk to an INTELCOM rep.
