Every single Liquor Depot was 25% off the entire store (off regular or sale priced items) last Friday only as an early Black Friday sale. Not sure if they will do it again this Friday, but it was great. I spent over $1000 stocking up on rum, scotch, and some more expensive wine that never goes on sale. Think I got 25 bottles of stuff in the end.

I have been looking for a cheap tablet. I only use the thing for watching movies on the plane, nothing else. I compared the Amazon Fire, and it honestly doesn't look that good. Is there something I'm overlooking about it to sway me from going with a Samsung Tab A 10.1?

The Fires got going for it is that it is cheap, and surprisingly durable. If you intend to do any video watching at all the 10 or 8 work well.

If you have only $40 and want to see what ultracheap can buy, its actually scary how good the Fire 7 is, especially if you install google play on it.

This deal is probably better. I have the G-Pad3 and am happy with it, only thing I really use it for is Clash Royale and Youtube.

Koodo's "$0" can be quite good. Often they offer activation credits on a phone which reduces the tab. Then you just cancel, pay the balance, and enjoy your cheap phone. For example, you could get a brand new S8 for $480 new (not refurb). You just have to watch the tabs as they fluctuate.

Looks like with activation credits, you can get the Pixel 3 XL for $800. $300 for the phone, $480 for the tab, few bucks for a day or two of service, and some tax. Thats a pretty amazing deal if you ask me.

You can get the Pixel 3 XL for about the same through Google's Black Friday sale if you find a friend to buy with you, and then you can get a BYOD plan which presumably is a lot cheaper but I don't know what Koodo's plans are like.

I also don't know if Google is still giving you the hassle-free year warranty if you don't buy through them.

I could do that, but first I need to figure out where/how I trade in my current PS4 for $180 and get the new bundle for (based on what was said in the original post) for less than $300? Because on EB site the PS4 bundle is $400+ from what I can tell. As a matter of fact don't even see a Spiderman bundle and the RDR2 bundle is $500.

Their regular prices are out to lunch though (at least on stuff I buy). 25% just gets them back in line with other liquor stores, and Costco still comes out way ahead (at the cost of selection).

I crossed shopped with World of Whisky before I pulled the trigger on any bottles I bought there on Friday. Only one bottle was priced higher than WoW/Co-op Liquor, and after the 25% off, it was still cheaper.

How does the cancellation work with Koodo? Do you just sign up, cancel a couple days later and then pay the tab balance?
