Flames and Oilers (eww) fans unite! We are catching up!

Just announced today, Flames and Oiler fans will be able to get new decorative (and legal) licence plates bearing the Flaming C or the Oil Drop.



Proceeds go to either the Calgary Flames Foundation or the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, the teams’ charitable wings.

A 1-time fee of $75, in addition to regular registration fees will apply. I wonder if you can still have a personalized plate with it...

I'd get one, if I could get my old personalized plate transferred over to it..and keep the old plate with same name should I choose to go back to my old plate.

its likely the same as the support our troops plates and you have no say in it, you order it and whatever comes, comes.

make sure you buy it as whoever is registered to the intended vehicle, i assumed it would not be bound until registered, but its bound when purchased... shawnessy registry didn't tell me this, i bought 3 troops plates by myself, and 2 of our 3 vehicles were joint registration with me and my wife, so she had to sell the 2 cars to only me so i could use the plates, it was a shit show.

Good opportunity to stop rocking the bmw vanity plate on my C63 , but this would also be good for the Jeep.

Yea nothing about that but not sure why people are arguing about factorials with a two letter base?!? There’s nothing about that in the article and everywhere is saying sequential alphanumeric combinations to be available initially with custom combinations to be looked into being made available next year so.....

I mostly just think the Red plate would look awesome (and be harder for cameras to read )
