A huge crowd (like hundreds, maybe thousands) should show up, causing hectic and chaos for all traffic for the rest of the afternoon

Too bad this is Calgary and not Toronto or Vancouver, people here work for a living so no one will show up.

What exactly is the point in going? He answers and twists all questions that pertain to anything about OG - and to most other rational questions as well.

You wont get an answer in other words.

Hate when people do that, it’s usually made up of 99% sheep that don’t actually fully understand what they’re protesting and they paint their entire side of the debate with the idiot brush

It's over lunch, so not an excuse. Boss is encouraging attendance.
Either way, should be good times... burn an effigy or two.

To throw rocks at that asshole. This is the exact problem with conservatives/the right, a HUGE multi-thousand protest should happen at this event, but its unlikely it will, because we have better things to do with our time like support ourselves/families and live our lives. When you vote liberal and have no job or hope of a future while living on EI, pretty easy to make the time to go to these things.

But if things are truly as bad as you portray then the "better thing to do" would not be going to work but rather work on the long term problem. Unless you actually have no plan, in which case carry on.

Haven't you seen the protest so far?

I actually didn't know about this until today. Seriously have been thinking about taking the day off and going down.

But you are correct, the protest doesn't really do anything. Long term solutions will come in the form of different government, so being proactive in helping the conservatives win next years election will be key. So donating and volunteering.

However, I do think there is value in getting the situation into the media spotlight, which a protest does do. Being front and center in the MSM constantly worked wonders for climate change and 3rd wave feminists.

Trudeau has been heckled and yelled at all across the country - from socialist strongholds to here - and nothing has changed. This guy is a complete fruit loop and will be gone next election.

I would be full on absolutely shocked if he doesn't win again - and I am a staunch conservative.

Does anyone else cringe when a dickhead uses this term as derogatory towards another individual as well?

I completely agree. Beyond is quite conservative overall, and even here a lot will vote for him even though they are completely fucking Alberta. Hell, the NDP supposedly has something like 33% of the vote in current polls in Alberta If Alberta supports communists that much, just think about the REST of Canada.

It's already begun as well, Trudope just rolled out tax credits/cuts for corporations that are specifically Ontario/Quebec specific with zero to help Alberta. FUCK. HIM.
