I think it has more to do with availability and consistency than cheapness.

Outside of a big city, where the fuck else do you guy that you know will be open and you know what you are going to get.

Terrible coffee, but there is always one nearby and it’s always the same.

Reminds me of people who work around Fox Creek. Some stay in Whitecourt because there is no tims in Fox Creek. Serious 45 minute drive each way for a tims double double in the morning.I could handle any gas station coffee over that.

Convenience is the only reason to go to Tims. 45 min? Thats ridiculous.

    A&W, McDonalds, Subway...
Mcdonalds has strict rules as to how large a town must be before they'll allow a franchise. That's why you see A&W's across small town Alberta, but no mcdonalds.

Subway does seem to be everywhere, but their breakfasts are disgusting.

As for the "better" lid. They have two and if you request the better style they will give it to you.

Tim Hortons hasn't been Canadian for years.
Ownership hasn't been Canadian for years. Tim Horton was a Canadian hockey player and the chain was only in Canada for several decades so symbolically it's Canadian. I believe the Corporate Head Office is also still in Canada.

Even though Starbucks is owned by shareholders all over the world it will always be a Seattle company.

Must be below quite a bit below 4,000 people because Pincher Creek has a McDonalds.
    Will fuck off, again.

Will only drink Tims if it's the only option.

Oral health matters so if you have chronic bad breath, go get it checked out.

7-11 has upped their game with an espresso machine haha it's so awesome. $1.79+tax for a large
