Caffeine amount per dollar is better value.

McDonalds Medium (475ml): $1.62 (includes free coffee every 7th) 145mg caffeine = 1.18C per mg
    Tim Hortons Medium (425ml): $1.98 205mg = 0.97C per mg
That's impressive sleuthing. I do that kind of thinking in the cheap beer thread.

But if all you want is the caffeine, just buy caffeine pills.

Joys of the job, but I agree the chicken snack wraps are decent for a quick wolf down and go
I know everyone is on the hate wagon for this thread, but I honestly have no issue with their food. Breakfast sandwiches are good. The Chiptole Steak wrap is great. If their coffee wasn't absolute shit now I'd still be going there for quick grub.

Interesting. I used to get gut rot from coffee and used pills on long drives instead.

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I hate everything Tim’s stands for. It’s basivally the lowest common denominator of Canadian citizens who patronize them. Idiots will sit in a drive thru for 20 minutes just to get a cheap coffee ffs.

Well you guys can't come on my Saturday and Sunday morning coffee run for the family while listening to T-Swift. Your loss

All the cheapskate coffee drinkers should hit McDonald's, because every size coffee is $1 until December 16th.

    Suck it Timmy.

Well if you want to go that way just by the caffeine tablets at Superstore. $10 gets you a 100 tablet bottle @ 200 MG per which works out to $0.0005 per MG. And no stinky coffee breath.

I've tried lower dosage pills too, to avoid the jitters, but still feel weird on them.

How would you know if you don't go there?
I used to live by the mount royal tims. Not anymore. I maybe go to Tim Hortons twice a year in a pinch. Nasty place.

Caffiene pills? Bad reaction for me too. I stick to my dark roast home ground brew. Caffeine pills make me hyper.

Met someone at a Timmie's to discuss a job opening yesterday. My lid was leaking so bad it left a puddle on the counter before I even carried it to my table.

    Stay classy tims.
The leaky lids are simply unacceptable. I just don't understand why this hasn't been addressed seeing it's such a large company. McDonald's cups are works or art in comparison with double lining and a leak proof lid.

The problem is even more easily solved by not filling the cups to the absolute brim. That's why they fucking leak. Filled to the top, and then the air pressure from them putting the lid on makes it spill over. Just leaving 3/4" of space would prevent most spills without costing them the redesign and more expensive lids.

Well yes and no. Once you open those shitty tims lids, it's just a gaping hole for the coffee to spill out of with sharp edges that cut your lip. The cup can be half full and the lid is still unsatisfactory.

It's kind of a moot point though, tims has dome lids now if you ask for them (which I do whenever I'm forced to go there).

I’m not a coffee drinker but I’m always amazed how people who drink coffee seem to be universally unaware of their horrendous goat mouth after their morning cup. For fucks sake have a coffee at home before you brush your teeth if you need it that bad. My god, it’s almost a certainty that whenever I speak to a coffee drinker they have absolutely disgusting breath. Some at least try to mask it with mints or a piece of gum but it’s still underlying and very much noticeable.

Sounds like you're face to face with a lot of smokers that also happen to drink coffee.
