It's been six years to the day, from the first layoff thread, so you might as well.

Employees from most groups were told to 'stay green on Teams' for Tuesday. Some groups were told Tuesday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday. I feel quite bad for those who have to go through another day of sitting around and waiting for a potential phone call.

The second round is supposedly happening in March which I suspect will include those involved in integrating the two companies (e.g. HR, Procurement, IS). It seems this week is primarily technical staff.

Looking forward to my new chicken coop/cubical at Brookfield.

They also laid people off this evening. Like after work hours and past 630 pm. Guess they couldn't wait until the next day...
