There's never any truth to that rumor. They'll get rid of people the old fashined way, by mistreating them until they quit. True layoffs are incredibly rare with that company, and always targeted to a small number of people. Don't think they've ever done more than 10 in a day, let alone hundreds. Not with Anadarko, Devon part 1, Devon part 2. That's like 2500 people they absorbed without mass layoffs

PCL was actually a much better company. I worked 5 years there.

This one was supposed to be same shit, different logo but they were an absolute joke. Old boys club of moronic senior managers without a clue how to operate a construction business. Bleeding cash from just about every project. I'll leave it at that.
