I'm in an annual race thing in a field. It's like 24 hrs of Lemons, but more mud/snow, etc.
Awd has been an advantage in the past, with reliability being just as important. The most laps in a few hours determines the winner. Like the US 24 hours of Lemons (which I've had the pressure of driving in), people are encouraged to decorate their cars in whatever theme they want.
Today I picked up a Subaru Justy. AWD, super light, hopefully reliable. This one has an engine swap from a newer EFI Justy.
I trailed it home and immediately attempted to climb a snowey hill to a field. It made it up the slipper hill after a few tries. Amazing.
The rims are 12" diameter. 4x100mm. I was hoping I could fit some ATV or side by side wheel/tires I have laying around, but the bolt pattern doesn't work unfortunately. If I can swap some old ATV tires onto these 12" Justy rims, I'll be in business in the traction department.
For a theme, I have not decided yet. I welcome any ideas.
