    Default Hypoallergenic watch option

Hey all, never been much of a watch person, but starting to look and found some styles I like, but the problem is I can't wear metal or plated jewelry. Not really in to a full gold watch, prefer the looks of watches like the leather strapped Carrera, or similar. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem, and what kind of watches do you wear? I have tried the nail polish trick, but it doesn't last a couple days. So far all I have found is an all wood watch.

I have no experience in watches, so any help would be great!

Titanium is hypoallergenic and should do the trick for you.

I used to have a titanium Wenger that I really liked. When it died I bought a second one that was identical. Really liked that watch.

Can't wear stainless steel though? Never heard of that.

If it contains trace amounts of nickel it will. That's what I was told after I had a reaction to a bracelet years ago. Any good places to look for Titanium watches? I've only wore Tungsten as a ring, never tried titanium.

    thanks!

I wear a wood watch (treehut) with a leather band. It's a bit of a different style and very comfortable for me.

neat, I did not know that was a thing. Virtually all stainless steel contains nickel, as that's one of the primary additives that make the allow rust resistant.

I found a couple titanium watches from Hamilton - Hamilton Khaki Aviation Titanium being one of them. Don't think anyone in Medicine Hat sells them, are they a decent watch?

Ceramics are good too. Plus it doesn't scratch at all, so it'll look new forever.
