Anybody have a suggestion for a dash cam installer? I mirror tapped a few years ago, and I am aware that I could als fuse tap, but I am a but OCD. I would really love an install with wires cleanly tucked away.

Get a voltage convertor (12v - 5v) and then splice, fuse (5A or less) and wire away.
All in one solution here - no tools required.

Dave @ autotemp NE is awesome!
Ian @ Visions South does a great job
I just called autotemp yesterday, $200 for an install
Let me know what you come up with sneek.
Reading the dash cam thread I'd want this too. If I find a decently priced installation place I can order a 3 units of the 2 way cameras. If someone has suggestions for Edmonton, even better. Thanks.
try Autotech? Joe is OG

If someone calls up other places to get quotes for installation please post here. I will do the same if I happen to talk to someone.

I don't doubt I can physically do it. But I hate taking apart interior panels and hiding wires.
I'll give Visions south a call.
$200?! Front and rear? That seems outrageous just for install. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ultracrepidarian
Subscribed, I'm also looking for someone to install a 2 channel for me
Definitely Joe at AutoTech and I will bet it won't be anywhere near $200 lol

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
Joe at AutoTech. His installs are clean and tucks everything nicely away.
I didn't even ask for front and rear. I just asked about dash cam install and that's what he said. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
How long do you figure this takes? Bet his hourly rate is $150/hr and I would have guessed to do a clean install it was more than an hour. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I installed my own dash cam (front and rear
), and helped a fellow beyonder figure out how to hardwire his as well. It took about an hour after jwslam helped me figure out where to connect all the wires lol. I tried calling places in the city, but nobody wanted to do it under $200.
Is Ian at Visions in Westhills/Signal Hill or on Macleod Trail?
