Rum recommendations for client xmas gifts?

Im currently putting together some client xmas gifts and one component is going to be booze. I figured Rum is a safe choice but I've been out of the drinking realm for sometime.

Whats a nice brand these days? I don't want to give Captain Morgan or Bacardi...

...or whiskey, whiskey is very popular these days. Go to superstore and buy the tomatin, glendronach, or balvenie products (depending on budget) and look like a hero as they’re all about 30-40% more elsewhere

I gave clients La Hechicera Solera 21 this year. It was recommended to me by the manager at CO-OP world of whisky downtown. I have not tried it but he said it was scoring higher than Dictador

Flor de Cana over zaya... zaya adds caramel to their rum so it tastes and looks better than the effort put into it...
