    Default Favorite Christmas drinks.

Now that we're in the last full week leading up to the big day I was wondering what your traditional Christmas time drinks are, or maybe some new ones that you are looking to try. Drinks, drink recipes, non-alcoholic, post away! It's OK if they're girly, Santa forgives you. I'll start us off

For coffee 'enhancers' I've been really digging these new varieties that have been out for a few years. If you like spice you'll love the bite this has, sounds odd but chili chocolate is a combo that just works, like salted caramel.

And as a big black forest cake fan that's exactly what this tastes like, great in coffee, chilled or on the rocks.

Beer time! The following is a classic, been out since 2004 I think. This is the first year I've seen it available in cans in a 12 pack. At 5.5% a six pack will have you well on your way to having a Rudolf nose of your own.

New from Granville Island this year is a coffee version of the winter ale, just as good and at 6% it's bound to be a good time until the next day.

For an extra twist, add a shot of Kahlua to either of the above beers, makes a great dessert beer if that's a thing.

That Granville Lion's Winter Ale is amazing. It's pretty much the only beer I sip.

Can't go wrong with a 50/50 spiced rum and eggnog too.

Good old Baily's and coffee is always my Christmas morning drink! I love a good rum and eggnog with some grated nutmeg on it as well. In the evening a good bottle of mead seems to always get opened as well!

Kirkland premixed rum + eggnog was pretty tasty this past weekend.
