I picked up one of these and a spare a while back. Can't recall the cost, but have been very reliable.

In all seriousness i've been looking on Ebay for one. I've decided that I don't care if my watch stops and i'll just buy a standard box from somewhere.

lulz aside, my watch maker buddy has a very compact one in his house, I think its about the size of a 1L carton of ice cream. It holds three watches, and rotates them at various speeds so they'll always stay wound.

I'll text him tomorrow and find out what brand & model it is, and where to buy one, and for how much. The one he has isn't over the top, but it does everything you need it to. Quiet as hell too. I think you just plug it into the wall and forget about it really.

    So I'll update this later.

The ones from the ebay seller "Ace Timer" have been mentioned on here before as being good.

Find an old shoe box, throw a half dozen socks inside, add the watches and set the box on your washing machine. Ghetto perhaps, but it keeps my Rolux and Omaga watches nice and wound.

I talked to my watch maker buddy today, apparently J. Vair Anderson jewelers on 3rd street and 4th ave DT have them. Their $200 each and can hold three watches. Thats where he got his and after a number of years it still works great.
    http://jvairanderson.com/contact/

He also said Costco occasionally has them on sale too. Although for those I dont know how often their on sale, nor the brand & price or if they regularly stock them. So its best to call in advance before going down there.

    Who hooked you guys up?
<------ this guy..... dont forget it bitches.

    Bump.

Just a heads up, if anyone's looking for a pretty sweet watch winder, Joma Shop is selling a 3 watch Wolf Designs winder for $300.

Personal experience with Diplomat - Huge pieces of Chinese junk, stay far away.

Orbita has a great product and decent price - around 800-2000. Battery powered. 5 year life.
