This. For every rich housewife with a Range Rover, there are 4 dudes who bought them fire sale out of warranty for the status and can’t afford oil.

On topic I hear the snow is supposed to get out of hand here this afternoon?
I dont know if this is the case with RR, but even with lemon lines like that there 'might' be an odd decent year/model that were actually 'ok' (but not OK by normal standards, just not nearly as bad as the rest of the make/model).

These are the used ones the knowledgeable ones tend to get.

And yes, expect blowing snow this evening.

From what I researched the used Evoques are decent. They don't have a lot of the problematic things (air suspension and such)

My nephew has one. It has been problematic in small areas, like the headlights not coming on(recall) and some other engine issue.
Very nice SUV, though I would not buy one.
But year, it all comes down to your tyres (or tires).

Left U of C at 3:40. Got home at 5.

Roads are fine - a bit slick - but far from the worst we've seen.

Guess it depends. Roads in the SE and SW are pretty gross and slimy.

And despite this, people still can’t seem to drive for shit. Lack of skill is probably the biggest issue, would love to see a winter driving endorsement for licenses. Want to drive between October and April, take a course and pass a test.

Range Rover has a brand image problem because of the clapped out ones in the secondary market.

4 accidents (first one was 5 cars involved) along Stoney SB this morning @ 6;15am. Regular 20-25 min. drive took 1 hours 20 mins.

Yeah, I saw one guy on SB Deerfoot slide off, hit a guardrail with his back left corner, steer back into traffic and continue. He pulled off a few minutes later and put his hazards on. Then just before Memorial, there were 3 half tons in the ditch banged up. Looked like it had just happened. Roads were slippery. Took me about 45 minutes from Coventry to Heritage, usually only 20-25 minutes.

Apparently the Coutts border was (is?) closed as of yesterday due to snow, first time in 20 years. The article said upwards of 50cm of snow although I don't know if that is what fell or is the total forecasted. Basically the whole highway south of Milk River was closed down.

deerfoot was hot garbage today. With newish winters, still pretty slippery. Tons of people spinning out or fish tailing, saw one rear ender and a the big fuck-a-roo at memorial

Macleod was an absolute gong show this morning. Blackfoot last night was just as bad and people don't seem to realize that when roads are they way they are... you drive in the lanes that are made not marked. Had to honk at a few people to quit wanting to kiss mirrors... had one guy even give me the finger over it.

what? I'm the ones who try to stay in the correct lane as much as I can. If the tracks are made wrong, I'll do my part to correct it. Of course I'm not gonna force people if they are too stubborn. I'll just move around if I can.
In residential, I drive over snow on purpose to level out the ruts.

Same here. Had a guy honk at me for getting too close, but everyone in his lane was further right than he was, and he was pushing the left lane into oncoming.

If you are driving out of the marked lane you are the one in the wrong and perpetuating the problem.

If its just you on the road sure.. but not possible when everyone else on the road is following the same behavior. Go with the flow.
