No I felt that it was a decent season. Rain yes, but enough heat and sun for me.

Now I come from the West Coast where summer sometimes doesn't arrive til September ....

I think it was less "shocking" than the last snowtember, because that one was the first week of the month. Towards the end, people are expecting it a lot more. Didn't hear about nearly the same damage from the 2014 one. Maybe because that one took out all the week trees already.

way wetter snow, and the majority of the trees the first week of September were in full summer leaves. Last week of September most leaves were primed to fall off and therefore not carry all the heavy snow weight
