23 years in our home, most definitely the heaviest continuous rainstorm we've ever had.

15 years here, and it's the first I've seen my street actually not be able to drain fast enough. No water ingress into the house though, and not even a single flicker of lights.

That's not a terrible idea, but I'll pass. Seems like the water was coming in one side of the weeping tile and out another. Water was stable the entire 2.5h that power was out.

had what amounts to normal rain here in Coventry, nothing heavy at all. No power flickers either.

The thunder we heard though was epic, I loved it!

Same in Saddleridge, was expecting the worst but we only got some normal-to-heavy rain for a while and then nothing.

The back to back storms were essentially the shape of a surfboard as they passed directly over the city. Very narrow corridor of intense activity.

Well our unintentional rain collectors in the back yard show that we got slightly over 10cm of rain on Thursday evening, quite a bit.

My attached neighbors basement flooded with the rain + sump power failure.

By some miracle my basement was dry as a bone.
