Anyone else lose some siding today?
They closed off 8th street today between 6th and 8th Ave SW. Crack Macs. Sandman hotel was shedding it's sign.

I GTFO before traffic got fucked.

I've personally seen that sign read 120, and that was ridiculous enough to remove my friends tonneau cover from this truck. I couldn't imagine 170+ ...

I’d love to see their FLRA for that day when it was forecasting 90-100 km gusts..

On the bright side he gets a spiffy new harness and lanyard.

Might be walking funny for a few days... But new PPE! Sweet!

Holy moly. Crazy video. Was windy here on the coast today as well, peak of only 80km/h though.

Just arrived in Crossfield, highways are really sketchy, gravel roads are good.

Whats odd about this one is, we had our 100KM wind warnings/advisories in the morning. But yet they still went out to work on it? Did the supervisor/company force them to go?

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

My weather station says -19.6°C. WtF?!
I guess that's literally the coldest morning in the last 7.9 months? I think that horrible February carried maybe a day or two into March, didn't it?

Yep. Thankfully it was the coldest my pup has ever felt and started whining and lifting his paws pretty early so it was a short one.

Don't consider this extreme, but well, I can't change the thread title, for another six weeks anyway...

Drive into work was the worst I've seen for years. There was hard ice under the slush on centre street somehow, which is crazy in these temperatures, especially considering I think they put down the de-icer liquid ahead of time.
Took me 19 minutes to get to work. Insane.

I noticed that ice on side streets but the rest was surprisingly clear for me, no delay on my commute at all. Car wash ruined though, bah.

Came in late today. Took probably 10 minutes longer than normal from the West. Roads were fine, just busy.

Oh and the cities worst intersections after 8 am at sirroco and 17th ave and sarcee at 17th ave going east bound.
