Drive into work was the worst I've seen for years. There was hard ice under the slush on centre street somehow, which is crazy in these temperatures, especially considering I think they put down the de-icer liquid ahead of time.
Took me 19 minutes to get to work. Insane.

I had a completely opposite experience. Commute was great, lots of grip.

20 mins commute this morning was about 45 mins, the usual traffic on Stoney (around 16th) started earlier (6;30am) and was backing up close to McKnight. Ugh.

This is just like a snow dump in Vancouver right now. Very slippery shit and heavy to move - my snow blower wont do anything as the chute gets clogged with wet slop.

Snow at -10 would be much preferable.

As per google maps commute would be an extra 20 minutes. Took my wife an extra 25. I worked from home until 1030 and made it in within 5 extra minutes. Have winter tires.
