Is it possible to see prior year assessments?
You can go back one year to see the assessment value. Sign in and under your roll #, see property details. Current will be in big font at the top, prior will be in little font under the house-magnifying glass symbol on the right.

Wish I could easily go back to see my tax bill from year-to-year though.

Those numbers are useless without knowing the median assessment value.

The city very carefully hides the different pieces of information needed to understand this issue in different places. They don't want you to know.

At least personal properties in Calgary aren't as bad as commercial.

2 commercial properties, one has 2% decrease in value which equaled a 23% increase in rates. Other was 2% increase in value which equaled a 28% increase in rates.

Read N article today the citys assessment group costs 22mm per year to run? Wtf

And places like ontario - assessments are done by a single provincial group (Sounds way more efficient)

This could get interesting if others start to look at how the City classified them

This is not news. That's why taxes has been diverted to small business who cannot afford legal representation while the core can hire high price lawyers to fight CoC.
