Is freedom any good?? Was reading complaints about over charging. And very difficult to get resolution for issues.

I've been with freedom for 3 years now and I haven't had any issues with payments or overcharges. It's been the same price every month with no issues. The only complaint I have but it doesn't really bother me with the advent of wifi calling is reception is poor in some places - I don't really use voice that often though. But other than that I can't complain for what I pay every month and what I get

Rogers "win back" team is offering 15 gb for $50/month, iPhone XR for $25/month, $0 down and $300 credit
Damn that’s a good deal. I suppose they only contact you to offer that deal if you left Rogers?

That was the case with us, we had 4 lines and ported them all out. It's been quite the gongshow going back to rogers, their employees have got to be the biggest dumbasses.

^ I left Rogers just over a month ago. Today I got an email telling me that I should expect a call from their win back team with an "offer I can't refuse".....lol, don't send me an email, just call me.

On another note... I'm with Telus now, much better coverage, especially up north at work. I also have the Optik service at home. I combined both services to my account and was told I'd get a $10 per month discount on my mobile services for doing that. I see my most recent bill shows a discount, but it's a BYOD discount ($10 discount). Should I expect another $10 discount as well?

Rogers sent me a text to notify of 5gb extra per month so it’s now $65 for 15gb, Canada wide. I’m content. Once upon a time I paid $65 for 1gb lol

    @benz_890 @16hypen3sp

Are these Rogers plans that try to win you back for the BYOD plans as well?

When I left Rogers, I owned the phone outright. So yah, if Rogers is trying to win me back, they better be giving me some BYOD plans. I still wouldn't take it tho. Telus is just so much better up north at work.

I wouldn't mind getting an upgrade but having to leave Rogers is just a hassle. I'm in the same boat as @max_boost I'm paying $65/month for 15GB of data but upgrading from this Samsung S8 would be a step up.

It's because all the corporate phones on the site are with Telus, so they've got some boosters on site.
Besides, the stock price is doing so good now that you can get a boatload of phones to BYOD if you wanted too. I sold all of mine when I left
Probably out $25k from that rookie mistake of not riding it out.

My job now, the site has Rogers boosters so it's a different ball game for me.

yes there are BYOD plans as well, 50 bucks for 15gb. Rogers has been nothing but a hassle to deal with.

Depends on the phone you currently have but when I was with rogers, I used to force it on the telus/bell network while I was up north. I don't think all phones let you do this however, since one of my coworkers isn't able to do it.

All the "full service" brands are a hassle to deal with. Weirdly, the brand with no customer service may have the best customer service of all...

WHOOO! Just found the 20gig Telus BYOD plan promo!!! $75 before discounts! Offer expires in two days. BYOD discount and home services discount are $10 each.

Just went over my 10gig plan data allotment for the first time in a year so this works well for me.

Plan you are looking for is :
PROMO Peace of Mind - Unlimited nationwide talk, text, and endless data (20GB High Speed)

My bill currently shows a $10 discount for BYOD. But I was told to expect another $10 discount for having the Optik service at my home. So it should be a total discount of $20 from the $75.
