Let me know if any of you come across one of these epic plans that can be got go forward on Telus’s network.
Pretty happy with what I am paying etc, but my wife is fed up with Rogers (she claims their network doesn’t work in our house) so seems like as good of a reason as any to change.
Not interested in freedom, would prefer a real network.

Now on the Koodo $75/15GB/UNLTD since Sept 2018.
Before that I was on the Koodo $55/8GB/UNLTD with 1 year BYOD credit.
Works anywhere in Canada.
You can look at Koodo or Bell as well. Roger's network is pretty shitty. But I guess if we did go forward with banning Huawei 5G, Rogers will be the only provider of 5G in this country for years to come. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Budget plan for those who want Koodo to offer them something down the road and don't mind the peasant 3G for now

Here is something decent. Lunar new year plans.
53 for unlimited talk and text and 3GB data is pretty good?

That’s ok I guess? Does Koodo not offer the $60 for 10 GB and unlimited everything anymore? That’s what I have.
I think that was a one off.

The best way to get a cheap plan with Koodo was mentioned here. Get a plan with Public mobile and Koodo will offer a migrate plan. Usually happens once or twice per year and it is targeted for users on Public Mobile. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My wife got the migrate offer for 40$ for 8 gb of data with Koodo so she jumped ship from Public Mobile.
You can get a few from Koodo but not quite that. You'll have to jump through hoops as they're still out of province plans but you can get them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
49$ - 6gb
56$ - 8gb
66$ - 10gb
76$ - 12gb
Im pretty sure it's only happened twice. Not once or twice per year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
$60 for 10gb is the mainstream retention plan you can get right now when you call to cancel. If you have the plan already you can probably easily get 10% off by calling retention. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I have heard from a good source that the TELUS 10g plan for $60 is going up to $70 right away. Anyone have there’s bumped up yet.
That'll take effect in April. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Haha what a scam by Telus. Lure customers over then jack their plans.
Got the letter this week my plan is going up $10/month to $70/month. I asked Telus what I'm getting for my extra $10 and they say the data is shareable now. Whoop-de-freaking-do.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.
And THAT is why I refuse to be tied down to any contract. When the plans turn to shit, I don't have to wait to move to another provider.
