Common beyond, lets get calgary to finally pass something that’s not stupid. Works all over the world, people do it anyways. Just like legal pot, it’s not going to change a damn thing, besides less bs tickets

What about the children? Even if only one child is harmed I don’t know how we can live with that kind of consequences.
Fucking finally
I already drink at the park. Pro tip when using a go-mug use a plastic or ceramic one, not a metal one.

Got a fucking ticket for having one cider away from everyone at Kinbrook Island a few years ago so I’m all for this.
Isn't it
Not a good idea?
Don't get me wrong.
I don't want to cause
A problem for any
Normal people who can easily handle
Some drinks in a park.
Drinking in parks, should come in handy when Trudeau strangles what’s left of the economy and we all have a lot more free time on mincome.

River beers are one of my favourite parts of summer. Nothing like it on a hot day.
One of the concerns in the survey is “people drinking then floating down the river” which I found hilarious... wtf else am I gonna do floating down the river?!This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Who the hell would support this? Obviously anarchy will ensue. Like when weed was legalized
"Allowed use of liquor in parks would be strictly for picnic sites only, as per AGLC regulations which indicate liquor can only be consumed at a signed, designated picnic site, and can only be consumed with food."
I like neat cars.

Oh fuck off They do it in your hippy dippy backwoods of Kelowna area too, I see people getting tickets every year on the canal. You grew up on the island right? So maybe it wasn't enforced there, but drinking on water is heavily enforced everywhereThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I go to knox hillclimb every year and crush a 6 pack with my buddy. Never had anyone react negatively. Every year had someone offer to buy them off us or tell us they wish they'd brought some up the hill.
I filled out the survey in favor of. Everyone does it anyway, but all the questions about paying for a picnic site that allows alcohol are probably the best clues of what will actually come of this.
I'll never forget my friend who got a ticket for drinking in a park while cleaning up some beer cans left on the ground by other people and putting them in the recycling bin. Officer didn't believe they weren't his no matter what.
