I didn't see anything less than $10 when I was there a couple years ago.
Hooters is the place for cheap Blackjack. It has been as low as $3/hand there.
Cheap Blackjack is an illusion, anyway.

We are going in 2 weeks with kids. I’ve been to Vegas 10+ times but never with our kids so this will be a bit different but kids wanted to see vegas and I think you can show them things without exposing them to bad side. You see those things no matter where u go so have to just deal with it if they see. We are doing 3 nights then driving over to Anaheim. We are planning to do the Avengers exhibit, magician show at harrahs Mac king (can get tickets for $10 if you wait till you get there), zip line at rio is cheap on groupon, bellagio fountains, treasure island show is free. Circus circus has ton of rides for kids for a reasonable price. Stay during the week and it’s cheap in Vegas. Get there rewards cards even if you don’t gamble use for your meals and hotel stay and you will get good offers in future. I have watched groupon and pretty much a ton of stuff you can get to do with kids in Vegas at 50 percent off or more and lots of good ideas on there. Anaheim is a day trip if you wanted to splurge for a day for the kids and rent a car. Long day but possible. Car rentals are dirt cheap. As for cheap black jack another spot is O’Shea’s.

Also if you go to speedvegas just off strip you can just watch the cars out ripping around or go for a ride in car as passenger for reasonable price, just have to be 6 years old I think

Not sure when it started? But that 5$ Blackjack has been a big promotion for NYNY. I know I got a lot of e-mails about it last year. I think they also started doing crapless craps. Fuck Blacjack though, better odds playing Casino War at MGM and running a Martingale.

Just got back from vegas, and stumbled upon a thing call "The void". It's an immersive VR experience and they have a star wars adventure that was pretty wicked. It's in the Venetian canal shops. https://www.thevoid.com/dimensions/s...tsoftheempire/

Stumbled into a lot of the other stuff too, what a city.

We are leaving on Thursday to head to vagas. We are thinking about splurging a bit and getting a limo ride to pick us up from the airport and take us to our hotel, and maybe stop at the welcome to vegas sign for the obligitory photo.

Any companies that would be recommended by anyone? Book in advance, or just fight the crowd for a ride curbside?

    Yes. Presidential.
Book it for one hour and he'll stop & take photos, drive you to a cheap liquor store and up & down the strip before your hotel.
Back in the day, the lady would get a rose and you'd get a cheap bottle of sparkling wine with your hour. I think that's gone, but Presidential is still great.

Just walk outside and grab one. There's normally 10 of them parked waiting for a fare, while the cab line takes 2 hours to get through. Can't even believe people use cabs there when you can just dial up an Uber that'll be there in 3 minutes.

You can totally negotiate with the limo guys who lurk near the cab-queue. If you don't get $20 off their first offer, walk away.

I've done limos a couple of times. Not worth it haha. They take you the long way to make you feel like they aren't taking you for a ride. They are mostly beaten up cars that have a little more room.

If your hotel has a shuttle, take that. Use the money you save and put 100% on black!

@baygirl and I had a blast, as did the kids. We treated it just as a family vacation. we spent some of the day at the pool until the rowdies started showing up, then we would head back into the hotel for lunch and then cruise the strip. checked out a bunch of different hotel features like the aquarium and gardens, the water gondolas etc. Did the Coke store, the london eye looking like ferris wheel, did both of the zip lines, found a street artist that made a couple of those spray paint deals that were awesome, checked out freemont street, rode all over the place in those double decker busses, took a limo from the airport to the hotel and stopped at the vegas sign for pics. We actually kinda ran out of time for all the things we wanted to check out like the hoover dam, grand canyon, the car museums, the outlet mall, etc...

Overall was pretty good, kids really want to go again.

Sounds like a great time @spikerS

I'm a fan of vegas, not so much the gaming aspect but there sure is alot to see there. Will definitely refer to your activities list when we go next time.
