What I want to know, is what drugs is she on and where can I get some?

Crazy story. I've been following this on and off for a while. What she got away with and the money the company took is insane
That voice, not sure she's a she.
Too loud for Aspen
The book covering her and Theranos is pretty amazing. Bad Blood. Listened to it on Audible to pass the time during some commutes.
Oh, and the deep voice is fake. She slips up and uses her real voice sometimes. She thought she would seem more powerful with a deep voice. Everything about her business and her life is fakery.
She was just a convenient face for more sophisticated pump and dump schemers.
is she Thanos' daughter?
Close, she's an Enron executive's daughter. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Read the book as well when it came out, highly recommended. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I believe they’re making a movie from it now with Jennifer Lawrence as Holmes.

Now that the trial is underway, is anyone following this?
The Dropout podcast is really interesting and the latest few episodes cover the trial and things leading up to it. Totally recommend it cause they talked to a lot of the people who worked for Theranos.

People who knew her before the Theranos deal say she's 100% faking her voice, and that she had a pretty normal voice, certainly not the one she uses now. She's been busted a few times in recent years, there are YT vids showing this. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I wonder if she takes the stand, if she'll use her fake voice, hah.
She sounds like shes on TRT, and looks like shes on a shitload of Adderall
Read that she uses business school teachings for the deep voice, low tone is supposed to convey confidence/authority. Same with the intense eyes, she just goes overboard. Or probably drugs.
She’d probably be alpha poster in hereThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

11 year sentence starts at end of month. I feel some sympathy, as it did seem that she was genuous in trying to create a technology that would improve human health and make it more accessable and inexpensive. Realistically many other US companies have lied long enough to make their claims truth, sometimes as long as a decade.
I mean if I claimed that I could create a 98% efficient solar panel with enough funding and manpower, but in ten years only got to 50% - that is still a win is it not? Halfway trip to the moon is better than nothing?

sympathy? wtf, its a straight up lie. The Tech doesnt exist. It's not trying, it's just a fantasy.
Not to mention this is a medical product, where people's life are on the line.
Yeah but... How do you push the technology without funding, and how do you get funding without trying?
She tried to create a wonder medical device. She failed. Warning for everyone else to never try creating a wonder device/drug?
This sets a terrible precedent for any Gen Z or Alpha to even attempt anything risky. No risk no reward, american dream dies. By this rationale NASA should never have been funded in the first place. IE: The penalty for a failed rocket launch is jail, which I have heard is kind of true in Russia and definitely North Korea (actually worse than jail, but I digress)
That investors didn't do their homework aside from Theranos pamphlets is exactly whos fault?
