The dedication smokers have in this weather. Life hack; it's warm to be a drunk at your desk with a flask.

Hearing a Civic Type-R or Integra Type-S owner admit that while the car is great in dry, warm conditions, it's still a FWD platform that totally sucks during winter.

I think the guy the Raptors traded is the guy that looks like a Sea Monster, so maybe they'll stop running that Sportsnet commercial with the Sea Monster in it in between gambling commercials when hockey games are on.

SiriusXM has an ai chatbot for cancelling service now. So much better than having to talk to a heavily accented sales person who keeps repeating the same offer I say no to.

Had my first afternoon hockey game today in a couple years.
My boys spent the night with their grandparents who lived fairly close to the rink.

So I had the whole family (including my parents, who haven't seen me play in 17 years) attend a game for the first time.
It was pretty cool watching how excited my oldest boy was to see me on the ice.

We may be old and slow now, but it was a great day.

Some fast food places don't care about the baggie bylaw anymore. I usually bring my own bag but when I say no to the bag, it gets put in their bag anyways.

There's a set of lights on the highway in this town where if you see it's going to turn red, you can exit off onto the service road and by the time you get to the intersection the light for the service road will be green. Then you just get back onto the highway and away you go. It doesn't happen often but when it does you get to just drive around all the traffic and it feels nice.

My new keyboard has a little bar in the top right corner that controls volume (or whatever you program it to). It wasn't a selling point but I ending up liking it so much I ordered a second keyboard for the office.

The deep sound of ice cracking after dumping $20 of salt on it, in my alley.

I would love to be near a glacier when that shit happens.

When your windshield wipers clean your windshield with no streaks when you use the jismers.

People who think they're within an orbit of cool at this City & Colour concert. What a bunch of fucks. I saw a fuckin companion dog.

The power play is to only be here for Ruby Waters and Nathaniel Rateliff. I would be banned for life if I had even a 4% chance of throwing a beer on Dallas Green.
